About

Jay Royston has been writing for his own amusement since 1995. He began by entering Film School, then publishing a Western Canadian indie film magazine before branching out into producing/directing and writing a local cable access children's show, various short videos, and a disastrous independent feature film, all before the Internet would really have saved all three. He has written for Terminal City, WhatCulture and a few other defunct webzines but has more recently concentrated on satirical 'spec' fiction.

Currently he is also a father, husband, firefighter, support worker and teacher's aide but yet somewhere in there continues to write for his own amusement.
